  9. CALLSTAR
  10. This is an evaluation copy of CallStar - Contact Manager for Windows.  
  11. It is a full-featured, yet easy-to-use system designed to be operated 
  12. in a standalone mode, or integrated with PlanStar, our Resource 
  13. Scheduling System for Windows.

  15. VBRUN300.DLL
  16. This version does NOT contain the required file VBRUN300.DLL, which 
  17. must be present in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory in order for the
  18. program to execute.  This file is normally not included with shareware 
  19. versions, because it is quite large and also because it is so prevalent
  20. that most people already have it.  If you do not have it, you will 
  21. find it on most bulletin board systems; on Compuserve, you can GO MSL 
  22. retrieve it.  If you cannot get the file by these means, you may 
  23. contact ComputerEase and we will mail you a copy.

  25. STANDALONE VERSION
  26. This version is NOT a network version.  It may (at the user's risk and 
  27. discretion) be loaded on a network server for access by more than one 
  28. person but it DOES NOT allow concurrent UPDATES.  It must be noted 
  29. that ComputerEase does not provide support for any effort to put this 
  30. product on a network.  A subsequent version which will allow for 
  31. network installation.  Contact ComputerEase for information.

  33. WINDOWS 95
  34. This version was developed and field tested prior to Windows 95, 
  35. therefore no warranty or guarantee applies for operating in that 
  36. environment.  In point of fact, according to Microsoft there should be
  37. no problems, but ComputerEase cannot support that contention.

  39. ASPAS LIMITATION
  40. This product complies with the ASP Author Standards (ASPAS).  It is 
  41. limited to use for 90 days and 50 address entries, whichever comes LAST.  
  42. Please understand our position.  We do not intend to anger anyone 
  43. by taking this measure.  We feel that this limitation is more than 
  44. enough time to make the determination as to whether you want to 
  45. continue using it or not.  BUT...we also have a procedure for extending 
  46. this period; give us a call and we will give you a code that will allow 
  47. you ANOTHER 90 days and 50 entries.  And we will do this for as long 
  48. as you want!

  50. INSTALLATION
  51. This product installs just like most Windows products.  It contains the
  52. bootstrap program SETUP.EXE, which can be executed by selecting the 
  53. FILE menu, then the RUN command.  You may also use the Windows File
  54. Manager to select and execute.
